Margaret Morris, the devoted daughter of Edna May Morris, has dedicated her life to service, missions, and uplifting others. As one of the co-founders of the EMM Foundation, Margaret was instrumental in establishing the organization—her vision, faith, and unwavering commitment gave life to the mission of honoring her mother’s legacy. Simply put, without Auntie Margaret’s leadership and determination, the Foundation would not exist.
As Treasurer, Margaret plays a vital role in securing funds for scholarships, ensuring that students receive the educational support they need through tuition assistance, books, and uniforms. Alongside her husband, Conrad, she also leads the preparation and shipping of barrels filled with food, clothing, and supplies for families in Jamaica—carrying forward her mother’s spirit of generosity and compassion in both financial stewardship and hands-on service.
Margaret’s passion for education is deeply personal. A two-time graduate of Brooklyn College (CUNY) and a graduate of The New School University in Manhattan, she dedicated 22 years of her career to teaching high school in Brooklyn, shaping countless young lives. Today, she channels that same passion into empowering children in Jamaica and beyond, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Margaret embodies the heart of the Foundation: faith-driven, compassionate, and committed to making a lasting difference. Her tireless work as both a leader and servant ensures that Mama Edna’s legacy of love lives on through every scholarship awarded, every child supported, and every community uplifted.

Conrad Joshua
Son-in-Law of Edna May Morris | Co-Founder, The EMM Foundation
Conrad Joshua, beloved son-in-law of Edna May Morris, is a dedicated co-founder of the Edna May Morris Foundation. His devotion to Mama Edna extended beyond family ties during her final days, he lovingly cared for her, ensuring she was surrounded with comfort, compassion, and dignity. Their daily conversations reflected a bond built on love and respect, and his presence was a constant source of strength for her.
In continuing to honor her memory, Conrad actively supports the Foundation’s mission by preparing and shipping barrels filled with food, clothing, and school supplies for families in Jamaica. His dedication ensures that Mama Edna’s values of service and generosity are carried forward in practical, meaningful ways that impact lives today.
Conrad embodies humility, loyalty, and faith in action. Both as a co-founder and a man who lived out Mama Edna’s legacy in her lifetime, he continues to help sustain her spirit of giving, ensuring that her light shines on through every child supported and every family uplifted.

Patricia Lodge
Daughter of Edna May Morris | Co-Founder, The EMM Foundation
Patricia “Patsy” Lodge, the first daughter of Edna May Morris, has dedicated her life to service, faith, and family. As a co-founder of the EMM Foundation, she played an important role in establishing the organization as a living tribute to her mother’s legacy of compassion and generosity. Today, she continues to honor that legacy through her leadership and community involvement.
In addition to her work with the Foundation, Patricia proudly serves as the family representative on the Building Fund Committee of the Mall Road Church of God of Prophecy, ensuring that faith and service remain central to the family’s mission of giving back.
Patricia is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey and New York City Technical College in Brooklyn, New York. She devoted much of her professional life to healthcare, working as a Registered Nurse at King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn and later at Bacharach Rehabilitation Hospital in New Jersey. Her dedication to healing and caring for others reflects the same spirit of compassion embodied by her mother, Mama Edna.
Through her work in healthcare, the church, and the Foundation, Patricia has touched countless lives. She exemplifies the values of faith, family, and service that remain at the heart of the EMM Foundation, ensuring that Mama Edna’s light continues to shine for generations to come.

Georgia Gayle
Granddaughter of Edna May Morris | Co-Founder, The EMM Foundation
Georgia Gayle, the proud granddaughter of Edna May Morris, played a vital role in helping her family establish the Foundation in 2022 as a living tribute to her grandmother’s enduring legacy of faith, compassion, and service. Together with her relatives, Georgia helped launch the Edna May Morris Scholarship Program and continues to support the Foundation’s mission of providing food, clothing, and educational opportunities to children and families in need.
Professionally, Georgia serves as the Head of Marketing Operations at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, where she oversees operations that ensure compliance, innovation, and above all patient-first communications. With her Executive MBA studies from Baruch College (CUNY) and dual BBAs in International Business and Marketing from Berkeley, along with certification as a paralegal, Georgia brings both academic and professional excellence to every space she enters. She is also a proud graduate of AstraZeneca’s Business Leaders Institute (BLI) Leadership Program, where she was commended by senior leadership for elevating promotional operational maturity and becoming a trusted strategic enterprise leader in promotional compliance and AI strategy.
Beyond her corporate role, Georgia is deeply committed to people. She is passionate about mentorship and coaching, actively guiding others in their career journeys and personal growth. She lives by the principle of “lifting as I climb” ensuring that as she advances in life and leadership, she brings others along with her.
At the heart of all she does, whether in the biopharmaceutical industry or through her philanthropic work, Georgia is driven by a simple but profound belief: service transforms lives. Through the EMM Foundation, she honors her grandmother’s humanitarian spirit by giving back to the Jamaican community that shaped her family, empowering future generations to dream bigger, rise higher, and achieve more.

Kareem G Gayle Fagan
Granddaughter of Edna May Morris | Co-Founder, The EMM Foundation
Kareem Gayle-Fagan, granddaughter of Edna May Morris, is a distinguished Human Resources Executive with nearly 20 years of experience shaping people and culture strategies for iconic luxury retailers. She currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at Parfums Christian Dior, where she provides strategic leadership to drive culture evolution, performance management, learning and development, and inclusion and belonging initiatives ensuring employees are empowered to thrive.
As a co-founder of the EMM Foundation, Kareem played a vital role in helping establish the organization as a living tribute to her grandmother’s legacy of compassion, faith, and service. She continues to support the Foundation’s mission of providing scholarships, school supplies, food, and clothing for children and families in need, helping to extend Mama Edna’s spirit of generosity to future generations.
Outside of her corporate and philanthropic work, Kareem is a dedicated wife and mother of two, as well as a committed Board Advisor to Gyrl Wonder, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women of color through mentorship, wellness, and career development. Her passion for mentorship runs deep, and she is steadfast in guiding the next generation of women leaders to boldly pursue their dreams.
Kareem holds a B.A. in Psychology from Pace University, an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology & Human Relations from Brooklyn College, an HR certification from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and executive certifications from Cornell University, Harvard University, and LVMH.
Kareem embodies the belief that success is not only about personal achievement but also about creating pathways for others. Through her leadership, mentorship, and service, she carries forward Mama Edna’s legacy ensuring that the values of love, faith, and giving continue to transform lives for generations to come.
Juliet Morris
Daughter of Edna May Morris | Co-Founder, The EMM Foundation
Juliet Morris, the kindhearted daughter of Edna May Morris, carries forward her mother’s legacy of compassion and service in every aspect of her life. Living in Gaithersburg, MD, Juliet has dedicated her career to caring for others through both her professional work and her faith-driven service.
At Shady Grove Hospital, Juliet delivers babies and supports mothers of newborns as a dedicated lactation specialist. In this role, she provides guidance, education, and encouragement to mothers as they navigate the critical early days of bonding and nourishment. Her work ensures that families feel supported and empowered, blending clinical expertise with deep compassion. Beyond the hospital, Juliet also serves at an assisted living facility, where she extends her care to those in need, embodying a lifelong commitment to giving back at every stage of life.
As a co-founder of the EMM Foundation, Juliet plays an essential role in advancing the mission of providing scholarships, school supplies, food, and clothing for children and families. While she often works quietly behind the scenes, her meticulous efforts in helping to raise funds are vital to sustaining the Foundation’s impact and reach.
Juliet’s life reflects the very heart of Mama Edna’s values service, kindness, and faith. Through her work in healthcare and her dedication to the Foundation, she continues to extend her mother’s light into the world, ensuring that every life she touches is uplifted with care, dignity, and love.

Bishop Charles Buchanan
Bishop Charles Buchanan has been the senior pastor of Bethel Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy at 24-26 Mall Road since May 2003. Prior to that he served the church as a National Worker in multiple ministries for 12 years, as a lecturer for Leadership Development Institute (LDI), and before then in numerous local church leadership appointments.
Charles Buchanan is a two-time graduate of the University of the West Indies, works with the National Water Commission and considers himself the undeserving beneficiary of the love, blessings and support of a wonderful Proverbs 31 wife, Charmaine, and three God-fearing children.

Sister Charmaine Buchanan
Sister Charmaine Buchanan is the head of Bethel Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy’s Education Committee, spear-heading its annual back-to-school outreach activities. She also actively serves on the Executive and in several other areas of ministry.
Charmaine Buchanan is a graduate of both the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the University of Technology (UTech), and works with the HEART NSTA Trust.
She and her husband are parents to 3 children.

Michelle Edwards
Michelle Edwards is the Associate Pastor of Bethel Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy, Mall Road. She has been serving the lord since she was 9 years of age. She is the Family Ministries Director at BT. Pastor Edwards teaches bible study, preaches, leads prayer meetings, and provides support for all the ministries at the church. She is currently a committee member of the Edna May Morris Scholarship. Pastor Michelle is a graduate of the Jamaica Theological Seminary, the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology, and the University of the West Indies. She is married to Eon Edwards. They have 3 young adult children.

Margaret A. Bowden
Margaret A. Bowden, JP Clerk of Bethel Tabernacle for over five years, has served on the Education & Outreach Ministries Committees, which provide oversight for the EMMF Scholarship and charity initiatives.

Sister Marilyn M. Lloyd
Sister Lloyd is a dedicated and hard working woman who loves serving God and His people. She has served BT for several years, and is a member of the Executive Committee. She also leads the BT Outreach Ministries, coordinating much needed assistance to the Church and wider communities through the Edna May Morris Foundation (EMMF) and other charities.
